Av-Tekk Charge-Air Coolers are the product of a family business that was founded in 1950 by Lloyd A. Bailey. This company, Diesel USA Group found success behind Mr. Bailey's formula of customer service, sound business ethics and all around knowledge of the diesel engine. From a one room business in 1950 to six locations, Av-Tekk and the Diesel USA Group have continued to grow through his leadership, and now his son Steve's (current CEO of the Diesel USA Group).
Av-Tekk as a company began in the 90's when the need for a high quality/low cost product opened up in the charge-air cooler market. When other obvious solutions left much to be desired, Av-Tekk responded with the highest quality remanufactured coolers at a lower cost. From a grand beginning, Av-Tekk offered the only FAA approved, rebuild process for charge-air coolers, now Av-Tekk has grown to offer the best charge-air cooler on the market. Av-Tekk's heavy-duty charge-air coolers (the bar and plate charge-air cooler) has quickly grown in popularity to become the best solution in the charge-air cooler industry.
